Why our brains think anxiety and worry is useful



One of the things that helped me so much with my own experience of anxiety and worry, is understanding how the primary function of the brain is to keep us alive. It's not concerned with our happiness or contentment; only survival.



When it comes to experiencing anxiety and worry, knowing this is what our brains are designed to do (but that we don't have to pay attention to it) can be one of the major 'keys' in gaining freedom.
