Nothing to fix

What if you REALLY knew this to be true? How much would it radically change your life?

If you are a serial self-improver (like I was and can sometimes still slip into!), then you will know that believing that you aren’t already whole or good enough, just as you are, is pretty tiring and doesn’t bring much happiness.

I believe a subtraction of what we already think we know is the fastest path to deeply knowing that we are already whole and filled with love – subtracting believing all the thoughts that say we need to do or be more in order to be better/more successful/feel happy/be at peace/healthier etc.

I now see that we are born with all we need to navigate life and are born whole….it’s only our beliefs about ourselves and adding meaning to our experiences that take us away from this truth. I feel it takes some courage to see that life works this way and to drop the constant need to improve ourselves and just be happy as we are.

If you can’t yet believe this to be true of you, try playing with “What if this is really true?” and see if your experience shows you that there is nothing to add to you or your life in order for you to be happy. Simply a subtraction of what isn't true will do the job.
