Powerful, daily immune support tonic.


As we come into autumn (and are also dealing with Covid-19), it’s a really good time to support your immune system with this easy to make immune tonic. Aim to have this every morning as your first drink of the day. I drink this every day, and it’s super tasty.

The ingredients contain vitamin C (lemon), have antioxidant (ginger), anti-inflammatory (ginger, turmeric, cayenne, coconut oil), anti-viral (cayenne, coconut oil) and anti-microbial (ginger, honey) properties.

Serves 1


½ lemon, juiced

1 inch of ginger, peeled and grated

1 tsp of apple cider vinegar

½ tsp ground turmeric

Dash of black pepper (increases the absorption of the turmeric)

Dash of cinnamon

Dash of cayenne pepper

1 tsp Manuka or raw honey (vegans leave this out)

¼ tsp coconut oil (optional)

Combine all the ingredients, except the honey in half a mug of hot water. Stir to combine. Top up with filtered water and then add the honey to slowly dissolve. Drink warm.
