How do I feel/ sit with/ be with my difficult feelings?

I get asked this question a lot by my clients. It seems quite common that we human folk like to avoid feeling certain feelings. I have found that one part of this is simply a misunderstanding about what our feelings mean...once this misunderstanding is seen, it's quite natural to just let whatever feeling needs to be there, to simply be there. It might sound too simple, but what if this is true?! Let me know in the comments if you have any questions.
