Very Berry Kombucha Smoothie
Updated: Sep 29, 2020

Now that I have started brewing kombucha at home, I have been looking for more ways to incorporate it into my diet. Adding it to a smoothie is one way to do just that!
This smoothie is packed with antioxidants, supplies 4 of your 5 a day and is gut-friendly too.
You can still make it without the kombucha, just add a bit more ‘mylk’. If you have been drinking kombucha for a while you could simply add the kombucha and omit the ‘mylk’. Adding the broccoli sprouts further adds to the nutrition impact and helps support the immune system.
Serves 1
Ingredients:
Handful of fresh or frozen blackberries
Handful of fresh or frozen blueberries
1 banana
2 to 3 florets of cauliflower (I use frozen)
Handful of spinach
2 tbsp broccoli sprouts (optional)
1 tbsp ground flaxseeds or hemp seeds
100ml of kombucha
150 to 200ml nut or seed ‘mylk’
1 tbsp protein powder
Add all the ingredients to your blender, blend and serve.
