Green Smoothie Bowl

There is a full on hit of greens in this smoothie bowl. This contains 3 servings of fruit and 2 of vegetables all before you have started your day! High in antioxidants and cleansing properties this smoothie is ideal for during a detox, to support your liver & immune system, or just for a super healthy start to the day. The protein from the protein powder and spirulina should help keep you full until lunch.
Serves 1
Ingredients:
1 banana
Large handful of kale
3 broccoli florets (I keep a bag of frozen broccoli florets in the freezer so I always have some on hand)
Handful of raspberries (fresh or frozen)
Handful of blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1 tbsp ground flaxseeds or chia seeds
1 tbsp plant based protein powder
1 tsp spirulina
1 tsp barley grass juice powder
½ tsp ground turmeric
200ml plant based mylk
Add all the ingredients to your blender, blend until smooth. Pour into a bowl and serve topped with granola (preferably sugar-free or low-sugar).
